Before Tamara de la Vega Bryon became staff reporter with the Huntsville Forester in March 2000, she spent a great deal of time travelling Europe, the Middle East and South America. She interned for United Press International, reported for various publications in Toronto, and worked for an English publication in Santiago, Chile.
