The Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary is getting ready to host its first annual Step Into Spring fashion show on May 8 at Riverside Public School.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m., and some 35 to 40 models are expected to walk down the aisle in local businesses’ newest and hottest attire. There will be clothing for men, women and children.
“Some stores will be giving coupons out to people who buy tickets,” said Shirley Woodard, who has been an auxiliary member for seven years. “This is the first show we’ve done since I’ve been here. We’re really looking forward to it and a good turnout.”
Woodard indicated that the evening will end with a bridal-type show.
“People should come to see what the latest styles and trends that stores are providing,” said Woodward. “It will be an evening of entertainment and you can come out with friends and have a good night.”
Tickets are $20, which includes refreshments during intermission and door prizes, and are available at The Clothes Closet, Reflections of Muskoka, Miss Lester’s and the auxiliary’s gift shop or by calling Woodard at 788-0931.
