Crokinole is over until next fall

Club 55 is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on club events please call 789-9783, or drop in for refreshments and some fellowship.

Crokinole winners from April 14 were: first, Keith Crozier, 610; second, Ted Skerritt, 505; third, Don Woolman, 380; most 20s, Keith Crozier, 17.

Winners from April 24: first, Keith Crozier; second, Eve Wagg; third, Gert Rimmington; most 20s, Keith Crozier, 27.

There will be no more crokinole until the fall. Thank you goes out to all who came on Mondays for a good game of crokinole. Cribbage winners from April 14: first, Bruce Liddle; second, Georgina Hayward; third, Ian Gibbard. Cribbage is Mondays at 1 p.m.

Shuffleboard winners from April 16: first, John Panton and James Tonks, 198; second, Don Woolman and Evelyn Wagg, 182; third, Gert Rimmington and Jane Skerritt, 175. Shuffleboard is Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

April 17 bridge winners: first, Bob France and Don Woolman; second, Ches and Betty Fulton; third, James and Ida Tonks.

Euchre winners April 19: women’s high, Nina Wagg, 84; second, Betty Humphrey, 65. men’s high, Keith Crozier, 72, second, Bertha Aube, 71.

Eighteen people joined in on the second triathlon games on April 23. Darts, cribbage and checkers were played. Thank you goes out to Muriel Carr, Edrie Mathias, Betty Higgins and Gert Rimmington for making and serving lunch. Thanks go out to Rod Vibert for putting this day together, Jane Skerritt and Eve Wagg for helping to make out the tally sheets and Jane for bringing in dessert for lunch. The day was a big success and was a lot of fun, with many people trying out new games. Team winners for the day were: first, Rebecca Steele and Betty Higgins; second,  Gladys McQuinn and Evelyn Wagg; third, Ruth Bennett and Gert Rimmington.
