The death occurred of Audrey Lenora Knott, 98, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on April 24, 2008.

The deceased was born on June 9, 1910, the daughter of the late John and Clara Bildson.

She married James Knott on April 14, 1947 at Falcon Lodge. Her husband predeceased her.

Mrs. Knott was predeceased by her brother George (Rachel) Bildson, many nieces and nephews including Aubrey (Margaret) Bildson, Betty Bildson and Lloyd (Gloria) Bildson.

Survived by Joyanne Weatherup, Lorna (Rolf) Martin, Ray (Lorna) Knott, Donnie Strano and Jimmy Strano. Predeceased by Gerald Bildson and James Weatherup.

Mrs. Knott was a long-time employee of Eaton’s. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232 and was a very active member of St. Andrew’s Club.

Funeral arrangements were with Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 High Street, Huntsville. The service was conducted at the Mitchell Funeral Home chapel, conducted by Reverend Raye Brown on April 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
