The passing of Penny Lynn Hube occurred in her 45th year at South District Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 7, 2008. Cremation followed.

Loving mother to Connor Edwards of Huntsville. Cherished daughter of Audrey and Ron Hube of Port Sydney.

Sister to Tom Hube of Huntsville, Leanne Fountaine (Phillip) of Utterson and Andrea Chewpa (Andrew) of Newmarket.

She was a very special aunt to Christopher, Ryan, Kari, Pam, Craig, Michael and Nicholas.

A celebration of Penny’s life was held at the Utterson Hall on Saturday, April 19, 2008 and we were overwhelmed by the number of family and friends that gathered to share memories and stories of her life. It was a real tribute to Penny and how she touched so many in so many ways.

Penny was known for her compassion, sense of honour, love and fierce independence. She was also known for her dedication to family and friends.

At the celebration, friends and family received a shiny lucky penny as a token to remember how lucky she was to have known everyone but also how we were all lucky to have known her.

Penny was a woman who enjoyed life and everything she was involved in, she did with passion. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and baking. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed skating and golfing.

To love someone is a delight but to be loved back as well is a joy beyond measure.

Penny will always remain in our hearts. Always loved, never forgotten.
