Club 55

The Huntsville Club 55 seniors are open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on events in the club please call 789-9783. Drop in for refreshments, games or just some fellowship.

Crokinole winners from April 7: first, Keith Crozier, 655; second, Evelyn Wagg, 630; third, Muriel Carr, 545; most 20s, Muriel Carr and Gert Rimmington with 10 each.  Crokinole is 10 a.m. on Mondays.

Cribbage winners from April 7: first, Lil Millar; second, Elmer Green; third, Georgina Hayward. Cribbage is played on Mondays at 1 p.m.

Shuffleboard winners from April 9: first, Gert Rimmington and Betty Higgins, 187; second, Howard Carr and Fred Collins; third, Peter Ferguson and James Tonks tied with 182. Shuffleboard is Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

Bridge winners from April 10: first, Evelyn Greene and Chris Karn; second, Don Woolman and Bob France; third, Marty and Garry Keys.

Bridge winner from April 11: Don Woolman, 5,160.

Friday night euchre winners April 11: women’s high, Anita Denny, 78; men’s high, Edith Wainwright, 73; most lone hands, Edith Wainwright, five.

There will be a triathlon  today, Wednesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. The cost is $5 and lunch is included. Darts, checkers and cribbage will be played. Come out for a fun day and try something new.

A round and square dance will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at a cost of $5. Music will be by Grenville Hall and Friends. Everyone is welcome.
