The death occurred of Donald L. Seaton, 77, on March 31, 2008 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.

The deceased was born on Jan. 18, 1931 in Toronto, the son of Clifford and Helen Seaton (Taylor).

He married Anne L. Seaton (Duggan) on Oct. 25, 1986 in Scarborough, Ontario.

His wife resides in Huntsville.

Mr. Seaton is survived by his sons and daughters, Ric (Cheryl) Gutjahr, Jayne (Keith) Smiley, Scott (Rosemary) Seaton, Laurel (Jim) Rogers. Stepfather of Michael Duggan, Stephen (Jennifer) Duggan, Jeff (Donna) Duggan, Tim Duggan, Rob (Laudette) Duggan, and Lynda (Tom) Smith. Loving Poppa of Lisa, Rick, Kerri, David, Lynn, David, Angela, Jennifer, Laura, Andrea, Christine, Alexander, Jonathon, Shelby, Austin, Jamie and Alysha.

Great-grandfather of Elliot, Aidric, Nathan and Rebekah, and many nieces and nephews.

Also survived by sisters Gwen (Logan) Jenkins, and Arlene (Jim) Goyea. Predeceased by Marilyn Swann. Mr. Seaton was an employee of Consumers Gas for 40 years. He retired to Muskoka in 1988.

Funeral service was conducted by Reverend Dawn Henderson at Billingsley Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, 2008. Cremation has taken place, interment to follow.

Don was a remarkable man, treasured and adored by his family, thoughtful and kind to everyone he met. He shared his superior intelligence with all.

He was a wonderful teacher, though not by profession. He is sorely missed by all.
