The death occurred of George Cornwell, 70, on April 12, 2008 in Huntsville, Ontario.

The deceased was born in Toronto on Oct. 4, 1937, the son of the late Sydney and Edna (Jordan) Cornwell.

He married Blanche (Conron) on July 24, 1975 in Kitchener, Ontario. His wife resides in Huntsville.

Mr. Cornwell is survived by one son and two daughters, Susan and Charles Switzer of Orillia, Ginny and Patrick Kingston of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Jeff and Danielle Underdown of Sudbury, Ontario.

Predeceased by his sister Doreen Auston and son Kirby.

Also survived by Joan Smith of Bewdley, Ontario, Syd of Huntsville, Fred and Gloria of Burk’s Falls, Dianne and Bob Smith of North Bay, Sharon Swain of Toronto, Joe of Toronto, Helen of Halifax and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cornwell was retired.

At his request there will be no funeral. A celebration of life has taken place at Billingsley Funeral Home.
