John Boki, formerly from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan who currently resided in Baysville, Ontario passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2008 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.

Left to cherish his precious memory are his wife of 65 years, Ella (Perverseff), daughter Carole (Bradley) Russell, sister Ruth Handlemen, grandchildren Candace Russell, Callie (Rick) Tratch, Bradley Bourhis, great-grandchildren Payton, Alec and Page Tratch, nieces and nephews and their families.

John was predeceased by his loving daughter Beverly Bourhis, mother and father (John and Dora) and brother Alexander Boki.

John and Ella were married in Flin Flon, Manitoba and resided there for one year until John enlisted with the army and served during the Second World War. After the war they resided in Blaine Lake, then Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

John worked as a small business owner and later foreman supervisor at Intercontinental Packers. He had acquired licenses in electrical, mechanical and refrigeration. John will be remembered for his dedication to family and friends, his quick wit and strong community and family values.

John will be laid to rest in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Memorial donations may be made to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Billingsley Funeral Home.
