The death occurred of Raymond Henry (Slim) Earl, 70, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on March 27, 2008.

The deceased was born at Fern Glen, the son of the late John and Evelyna Earl. He married Belva Swan on May 12, 1973 in Huntsville, where his wife still resides.

Mr. Earl is survived by one son, Joseph Ivan Earl and and one granddaughter, Jacklynne Louise Earl. Also survived by his brother Robert Earl and his wife Joan Earl.

Mr. Earl was a truck driver for 50 years for Acme Planing Mills in Huntsville.

Funeral service was conducted by the Venerable Reverend Dawn Henderson of All Saints’ Anglican Church at Billingsley Funeral Home on March 29, 2008. Spring interment at Hutcheson Cemetery.

Memorial gifts to the Cancer Society or Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
