The Aspdin annual meeting is Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Aspdin Community Centre.

The scores for the Aspdin card party on April 1 were: first, Flo Feldman, 78; second, a tie, Edith Wainwright and Barb Greig, 77; third, Irene Turner, 76; most lone hands, Bob Greig, five; door prize, Flo Feldman; 50/50  draw, Jim Demaine.

The Aspdin WI are having a potluck dinner on Wednesday, April 23 at noon for all the seniors in the Aspdin and Yearley area.

We would like to know how many are coming so we can have the tables set up.

The Aspdin WI meeting is April 14 at the Aspdin Community Centre with a bag lunch at noon and meeting to follow at 1 p.m.

Happy anniversary to Jim and Shirley Scarrow April 2 and to John and Marilyn Penygi April 13.

Joan and Stan Risto spent a few days in Pembroke last week attending  Joan’s brother George Lesnick’s funeral and  visiting  with friends and family.

Roy and I were happy to have son Doug Galloway visiting for a couple of days, helping with a few things around the house.

A few of us met our former neighbours, Cliff and Shirley Roberts, at West Side Fish and Chips for lunch on Friday.

Ken Ware was up visiting his mom and dad, Marg and Dick Ware, on the weekend.
