Leslie Arthur (Bud) Boucher, age 87, passed away at Huntsville Memorial Hospital on March 26, 2008.

Mr. Boucher was born on March 21, 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Katherine Boucher and sister-in-law Marion Boucher.

He is survived by his beloved wife Jean of 55 years. Dear father of Clyde of Whitefish, Katherine and her husband Roger Green of Huntsville, Lois Anne and her husband Rick Chapman of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Heather and her husband Bryan Boothby of Thornhill.

Loving grandfather of William and Regan, Riley, Michael and Rebecca, Lesley-Anne and Jeff, Caleb, Joshua and Matthew. Great-grandfather of Beatrix.

Dear brother of Robert and his wife Jean of Orillia, Austin, Don and his wife Marj, all of Huntsville. Dear brother-in-law of Evelyn Sammons of Smith Falls.

Bud was a lineman for Ontario Hydro for 37 years in the Huntsville and Burk’s Falls area.

Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Blake Walker of Huntsville at Billingsley Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Howie Crockford, Steve Dubeau, Peter Cotterchio, Don Strano, Wayne Pratt and Terry Exell, all retired Ontario Hydro linemen.

Memorial gifts to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
