The death occurred of David Bernard Ransom, 48, on March 19, 2008 in Baysville, Ontario.

The deceased was born on Jan. 4, 1960, the son of the late Dougal and Isabel Ransom. He married Laura Ann Bullock on Feb. 9, 1985 in Hillside.

Mr. Ransom is survived by two sons, Matthew and Corey. Also survived by Ray (Kathy) Ransom, Bruce (Diana) Ransom, Len (Linda) Ransom, Marilyn (Bill) Newton, Marie (John) Suddaby, Doreen (John) Moore, Cathy Ransom. Son-in-law to May Bullock, brother-in-law to Tammy (Dan) Maschman, Ken (Kim) Bullock, John (Anthony) Bullock, and James (Angela) Bullock.

Mr. Ransom was self employed and a mechanic for the Township of Lake of Bays.

Funeral service was conducted by Reverend D. Shelly at Billingsley Funeral Home on March 24, 2008, followed by cremation. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Hillside in the spring.
