  • Amnesty International Muskoka Action Circle’s meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Hearth Room at Trinity United Church. Come and find out about Amnesty successes and help make a difference. All are welcome.

  • Hospice Huntsville is offering a free seven-week grief support program at 7 p.m. for individuals who are experiencing the loss of a loved one. Contact Elaine Rose at 789-6878 for more information and to register.


March 29
  • Celebrate Earth Hour between 8 and 9 p.m. by turning off the lights. Send a message to policy makers that the effects of climate change need to become a top priority.


March 31
  • The MS Society’s Muskoka unit is holding charity bingo at 6:30 p.m. at the Huntsville Rainbow Bingo Hall.


April 1
  • The Utterson Live Wires seniors’ club meets every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the seniors’ room at the Utterson Hall. The group also meets for euchre on Wednesdays from 7 to 10 p.m. at the hall. Free computer instruction is provided at the hall every Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.


April 2
The Muskoka Stamp Club will meet at Bracebridge Public School at 7:30 p.m. Guests are welcome. For more information call Tom Anderson at 705- 645-3330.

April 8
  • The annual euchre to aid the Canadian Cancer Society at  the Dwight Senior’s Hall at 7 p.m. Prizes and refreshments. Admission is $5.


April 19
  • The Muskoka Parry Sound Genealogy Group is meeting from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Friends Room at the Huntsville Public Library. Librarian Judy Ruan will speak on the topic of Discover the Hidden Internet for Effective Genealogy Searches.


April 23
  • The Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary’s Spring Card Party is being held. Dessert served at 6:30 with bridge and euchre beginning at 7 p.m in the cafeteria and board room. Tickets are $7 at the Hospital Gift Shop or call Irene at 788-2618 or Helen at 789-3222.
