The death occurred of Vera Hadden, 96, on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Huntsville Hospital.
The deceased was born in Toronto on Sept. 15, 1911, the daughter of William and Edith Bish. She married Eugeen Hadden on Sept. 14, 1935. Her husband predeceased her.
Mrs. Hadden is survived by one son and one daughter, Paul (Pat) Hadden of Scarborough and Ruth (Geoff) Cox of Huntsville.
Vera was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her parents and two brothers and three sisters.
She was a bookkeeper at the George Weston Company before marriage and becoming a homemaker. She loved serving her Lord and Saviour as a youth club leader, Sunday school, teacher, deacon and Mission Circle president. Her family meant everything to her. She was upbeat, helpful, kind-hearted, caring and generous.
Funeral service was conducted by Reverend Arthur Hadley at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto on Wednesday, March 12, 2008.
Interment at Westminster Cemetery, Toronto.
Pallbearers were Norman Houser, Bruce Bish, Mark Hadden, Ted Moyle, Ron Waklein and Glenn Hadden.
