The death occurred of William G. Macmillan, 78, on March 7, 2008 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.

The deceased was born in Lanarkshire, Scotland on Jan. 30, 1930, the son of Duncan and Margaret Macmillan.

His wife Nancy resides in Huntsville. Dear father of Sandra (Wayne) Lay of Huntsville, Ian (Janet) of Richmond Hill, Donna (Tom) Greenaway of Bowmanville.

Also survived by grandchildren Jennifer, Jason, Duncan, Emily, Krissy and Maggie.

Predeceased by his brother Jim and sister Margaret.

Mr. Macmillan retired from Don Mills, Ontario and moved to Huntsville in 1988.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Best Western Hotel, Huntsville in the Algonquin Room.

Donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
