Club 55

Club 55 is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come in for refreshments, come in to play a game, or just for some fellowship. The dart boards are going up this week so drop in for a game of darts or join in on a game of pool.

Crokinole is played on Mondays at 10 a.m. for a charge of $2. Everyone is welcome. Come out for a couple hours of fun and laughter. Crokinole winners from Feb. 25: first, Muriel Carr, 650; second, Eve Wagg, 530; third, Keith Crozier, 385; most 20s, Eve Wagg, 10.

Cribbage winners from Feb. 25: first, Norm Parker;  second,  Trudi Craig; third, Ida Tonks.  Cribbage is every Monday 1 p.m., and everyone is welcome.

Shuffleboard is held every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Shuffleboard winners from Feb. 27: first,  Gertie Rimmington and Peter Ferguson, 203; second, Muriel Carr and Jim MacDonald, 196; third, Ann Shorne and Florence Digazio, 186.

Bridge winners from Thursday, Feb. 28: first, Evelyn Greene and Chris Karn; second, Ches and Betty Fulton;  third, James and Ida Tonks;  fourth, Paul and Beryl Clayson.  

Friday,  Feb. 29 bridge winners: first, Bill Moir, 3,380.

Friday, Feb. 29 euchre: first, Bonnie Demaine, 77.

Wednesday nights at the club are fun nights. Come out and play some games.

The seniors’ meeting is the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. Joanne Townsend came to the seniors’ meeting on March 5 and showed the benefits of Ayurvedic head massage.

Many members got to enjoy having the massage. Thank you goes out to Joanne for giving us an insight into the benefits of massage.

The safe driving course for seniors at Rowanwood is March 25 at 1:30 p.m. For more information call 789-6424.

On March 19 at 10 a.m. the club is having a triathlon fun day, playing games of pool, crokinole and shuffleboard.  Come out for a day of fun and laughter. Lunch is included for a cost of $5. Come in and sign up or call the club at 789-9783.

March 17 is St Patty’s Day crokinole games. Come in and enjoy the fun.
