• The Windermere and District Lions Club is holding its annual turkey supper at the Raymond Community Centre (2013 Hwy. 141) between 4:30 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children under 12 and free for preschoolers.

March 17

• The MS Society Muskoka Unit is holding charity bingo at 6:30 p.m. at the Huntsville Rainbow Bingo Hall.

• District 46 Muskoka Retired Teachers (RTO/ERO) Morning Recess Coffee is being held at 9:30 a.m. at the Coffee Cabin. as  the times and following places. The group will also meet on March 18 at 9:30 a.m.  at the Sunset Grill (Muskoka Wharf, Gravenhurst) and on  March 19 at 9:30 a.m. at Marj’s Diner in Bracebridge.

• A free Drive Wise seminar for seniors will take place at 2 p.m. at Rowanwood Retirement Residence (81 Rowanwood Road, Utterson).  

• The Huntsville Horticultural Society will hold its first general meeting of 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at Sutherland Hall.  Guest speaker is Sue MacDonald, who will give a photographic presentation entitled Wild Images. All are welcome. Call Debora at 787-0905 for more information.
