This aerial photograph was taken of the Huntsville and Lake of Bays area in 1927. These days, advanced technology assists meteorologists to aerially track weather and storm trends.
At a recent District of Muskoka Economic Strategy Consultation Session, Don MacKay, Muskoka Highlands Golf noted, “When a 30% chance of rain is reported by the media, it negatively affects attendance, although really that’s a 70% chance of no rain.”
That’s a very good point, as attitude and travel tourism activity and trends are often a product of media “spin”.
So, as stated on Soul Sistas Restaurant sign in Huntsville, “Create a nice day.”
