Congratulations to Lionel Schneider and Norm Yearley, winners of the Feb. 24 sport quadrathlon at Branch 232. It was a great afternoon of darts, cards, pool and cards and a good time was reported by all. The sport quadrathlon is expected to return in the fall.

The next general meeting of the branch will be held at 7:30 p.m. on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day. All members are encouraged to attend and have a say in the running of their branch.

Bid euchre winners at the branch this week were Jean McDonald, first; Wes Demarco, second and Lil Millar, third.

The entire community is welcome at the delicious meals served at Branch 232 each week. The $4 Friday lunch, served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 7 will offer an egg salad sandwich with soup or a meatball sub with fries. The next $6 Tuesday night dinner and dessert, served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on March 11 will feature swiss steak.
