The death occurred of Trevor Fleetham, 71, on Feb. 16, 2008 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
The deceased was born in Callander, Ontario on April 29, 1936, the son of Cyril and Lenore Fleetham.
He married Vivian A. Yantha on May 10, 1958 in Whitney, Ontario. His wife resides in Huntsville.
Mr. Fleetham is survived by three sons and one daughter, Daniel of Orangeville, Gregory and Estelle of Huntsville, Lyle and Rosemary of Toronto and Julie and T.J. Jones of Huntsville.
Also survived by brother Dale Fleetham, sisters Jean Selwood and Margaret Holinshead. Loving grandfather (Papa) of Aimee and Amanda Fleetham, James Fleetham and Abby Jones.
Mr. Fleetham was an auto mechanic in his earlier years, then a long-time employee of the town of Huntsville as an operator of heavy equipment, until his retirement in 2001.
Trevor had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed his fishing trips and hunting seasons at the camp with his sons, relatives and friends. His gentle smile and easy-going manner made him much loved by many. He will be sadly missed and always remembered. Until we meet again.
Funeral service was conducted by Father Gerry McMahon of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Huntsville at Billingsley Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008.
Spring interment at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews Larry and Tim Fleetham, Mike Botting, Andy Dubreuil, Doug Groomes and Paul Yantha.
