The death occurred of Lyle Gordon Lovegrove, 75, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Feb. 11, 2008.

The deceased was born on Oct. 18, 1932, the son of Gordon and Avril Lovegrove.

He married Gala Rogers on Oct. 23, 1954 in Huntsville. His wife predeceased him.

Dear companion of the late Lorraine Stiles. Mr. Lovegrove is survived by two sons, Scott and Tim Lovegrove of Huntsville, daughter-in-law Katherine Lovegrove, grandchildren Katelyn, Megan, Shawn and Kimberly, sister June (Ken) Jones, brothers Murray (LaNor), Dennis (Bernice), Gerald (Sharron), Ron (Carol), Garry (Sandra and brother-in-law Don Ouderkirk.

Predeceased by his sister Gloria Ouderkirk.

Mr. Lovegrove was a retired employee of the town of Huntsville and a farmer. He was a member of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.

Funeral service was conducted by Reverend Lisa Waites at Billingsley Funeral Home on Feb. 14, 2008.

Spring interment at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.
