Huntsville Seniors     

Club 55 is open from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come in for refreshments, play a game or just enjoy some fellowship.  On Mondays the club plays crokinole at 10 a.m. for $2, and everyone is welcome. Crokinole players are needed, so come out for a couple hours of fun. The winners from Feb. 11 were: First, Edrie Mathias, 955;  second, Don Woolman, 850;  third, Evelyn Wagg, 52; most 20s went to Evelyn Wagg, 19.

Thank you goes out to Garry and Maci Oke for donating a crokinole board to the club. Thank you also goes out to Audrey Burgie, Don Woolman and Jean Armstrong, who also donated boards.

Thanks goes out to Elmer Green, Trudi Craig and Ernie Wagg for picking up the crokinole boards and bringing them into the club.

Bridge winners from Thursday, Feb. 7 were: first, Ches and Betty Fulton; second, James and Ida Tonks; third, Pat and Lynn Fletcher.

Friday, Feb. 8 bridge winners were: first, Helen Chantler, 5,290;  second, Bill Moir, 4,740; third, Becky Teakle, 4,550.

Cribbage winners from Feb. 4 were: first, James Tonk; second, Betty Feather; third, Pete Ferguson and Ida Tonks.

Cribbage is Mondays at 1 p.m. for a cost of $2. Everyone is welcome.

Shuffleboard winners from Feb. 6 were: first, George Bruce and Dave Bently, 222; second, Muriel Carr and Evelyn Wagg, 198;  third, Gert Rimmington and Ted Skirritt, 189.

Shuffleboard winners from Feb. ll were: first, Gert Rimmington and Edrie Mathias, 211; second, Dorothy Rimmington and George Bruce, 166; third,  Don Woolman and Ida Tonks, 157.

Shuffleboard is played each Wednesday at 10 a.m. for a cost of $2. Everyone is welcome.

Friday night euchre winners Feb. 8 were: women’s high, May Maillet, 72; women’s second, Edith Flood, 62; men’s high, Bonnie Demaine, 75;  men’s second, Mary Fowler, 66; most lone hands, Flo Feldman, four. Club 55 meetings are the first Wednesday in the month at 1:30  p.m.
