Three tenors melt hearts with Romanza
Feb 13, 2008

Singing of love, conquest, betrayal and heartache, from a melting serenade to a spine-tingling high ‘C’, the voice of the tenor romances. On Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. in Trinity United Church, HAPA, the Huntsville Association for the Performing Arts is honoured to present Romanza: The Art of the Tenor.

Philip Grant, Todd Jang and Frederik Robert have been described as “three talented, young, classically trained opera singers who have separately been delighting audiences throughout North America and Europe.” Now together as Romanza, and living in British Columbia, these amazingly versatile performers beguile their audiences, young and old alike, with their unique versions of famous opera arias, musical theatre, love ballads and Canadian folksongs. They are accompanied by violin, piano and concert bass.

Some single tickets will be available at the door or at Hampton Lane Menswear, Huntsville Place Mall.

HAPA is grateful to Muskoka Medical Pharmacy, HomeLife/Muskoka Real Estate Ltd., Muskoka Hearing Aids and Motel 6 who are all sponsoring this, HAPA’s third concert of the season.

As well, thanks again to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their continued support. Tickets: adults $25, students $10. For more information please call Martina at 787-1918.
