The death occurred of Gordon Lumley, 82, on Jan. 25, 2008 at his home in Huntsville.

The deceased was born on Dec. 7, 1925. He was the beloved husband of Ethel and the late Joye.

Dear father of Gord and Judy, Howard and Brenda, Wendy and Dennis, Joan and Sean, David and Marlene. Predeceased by his son James.

Stepfather of Bill and Lynda, Nancy and Randy, Rick and Bev, Sandy and Nick. Loving grandfather of Elizabeth, Andre, Leanne, Jeanette, Dennis Jr., Dale and Mary, Robin and Jennifer, Robert and Anne, Christine, Adam, Cheryl, Colleen and Katherine.

Step-grandfather of Bill Jr., Ryan Sr. and Carrie, Melissa and Kerwin, Randy Jr., Kyle, Shaunna and Grant, Rick Jr., Vanessa and Geoff, Jessica and David and Courtney.

Great-grandfather of Catherine and Alex, Cecilia and Dennis, Marion, Mika, Rebecca, Ryan, Samantha, Jessica, David, Shyan and Rebecca. Step-great-grandfather of Ryan Jr. and Ethan, Hayden and Rylie, Curtis and Danica. Great-great-grandfather of Talon and Aiden.

Survived by one sister, Freda.

Mr. Lumley was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Funeral service was conducted by Reverend Dawn Henderson at Billingsley Funeral Home on Jan. 28, 2008.
