• The Table Soup Kitchen hosts a free dinner at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (use Princess Street entrance) from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.

• The Arts Council of Muskoka  is holding its annual general meeting at 6 p.m. at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Meeting will include a potluck, so bring a dish.

February 9

• Knox United Church Women in Port Sydney are holding a casserole supper at 5:30 p.m. in the church’s centennial room. Cost is $8 per person with games and cards to follow.

• Tall Pines Snowmobile Club is hosting a poker rally and Valentine’s dance. Call Barb at 705-766-2108 or Donna at 766-9253 for more information. Proceeds to aid kidney dialysis at Lions Camp Dorset.

February 12

• The MS Society Muskoka Unit board of directors meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at VK Greer Public School in Port Sydney.

February 15

• Parents for Playgrounds are holding a PA Day Family Skate at the Jack Bionda Arena from 10 to 11 a.m., with refreshments and pizza to follow. The cost is $2 per person and proceeds will be directed to local playgrounds.

February 23

• Big Sweet Lou will perform at Chaffey Hall for a fundraising for HHS’s Team Ecuador. Doors open at 8 p.m., $5 admission and there will be a cash bar.
