• A Bedtime Storytelling Feast will take place in the Huntsville Public Library’s multi-purpose room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Stories from Wahta First Nations, Sandy Inkster, storyteller and early literacy specialist and children’s singer Russ will also perform. A free book and healthy snack will be provided. Wear pajamas and bring a teddy bear.
January 26
• The YWCA Girlz Day Out conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Women’s Resource Centre (215 Main Street West).
January 27
• The Alzheimer Society Muskoka Chapter is hosting their first annual Walk for Memories. Walks will take place in Huntsville High School and Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Secondary School. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. in each location, with the walk taking place from 1 to 3 p.m.
January 29
• Veronica Leonard, a Reiki master, will present a free workshop on the benefits and history of Reiki from 10 a.m. to noon at the Womyn’s Way Drop-In (215 Main Street West). All women welcome.
