MAIN STREET IN WINTER: Is the title of this Huntsville, Ontario postcard  from a century ago. The viewpoint is from Queen Street looking east.

This Friday night, this street will be the backdrop to the annual Santa Claus parade beginning at 7 o’clock in the evening. Traditionally, this event is graced by the best and brightest of the area: thousands of twinkling lights, elected representatives, service, community and social clubs and volunteers, floats, bands, dancers, the shining eyes of excited children, hundreds of wanna-be elves and the jolly old soul, himself.
