Addressing hearing, vision health

CNIB will be holding a service day at Rogers Cove Retirement Residence, 4 Coveside Drive, Huntsville on Tuesday, May 22 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

CNIB staff will be on hand to answer questions from anyone searching for vision health information and to discuss services and support available to anyone living with vision loss.

A selection of innovative consumer products will be available for demonstration. An appointment is necessary if you would like a talking book player or magnifier demonstration.

CNIB Deafblind Services will be available to provide information on intervention, case management, counselling and referral and consumer products. For further information or to book an appointment with CNIB please call 728-3352, ext. 5271.

The Canadian Hearing Society will also be in attendance to clean and check hearing aids and to provide counselling to those with hearing loss. Call Diane at 737-3190 to book an appointment.
