Don’t miss Tina Turley’s Concert in the Park performance tonight, Wednesday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at the town docks.
A homegrown talent, Turley hails from Huntsville, Ontario. Born into a musical family, she grew up performing in and around the Muskoka, Parry Sound area with her father Ed, until such time as her music took her to Toronto.
There she was a drummer in an all-girl band, Denam and Lace, travelling extensively throughout southern and northern Ontario.
Turley’s videos received enthusiastic attention on CMT Canada as an independent artist, and her songs have had significant airplay across Canada, USA and Europe, reaching top 20 status on the Canadian Country Music Radio Charts.
Also to her credit, Turley has made numerous appearances on Canadian television such as Dini Petty, Breakfast TV and A-Channel in Ontario and Alberta, to name a few.
She also toured in western Canada with venues at the Calgary Stampede, Klondike Days in Edmonton and Merritt Mountain Festival in British Columbia.
Turley also performed as the opening act for Tim McGraw and Blackhawk at the Policeman’s Ball at Toronto Maple Leaf Gardens.
