The Huntsville Senior Travellers committee has three more trips planned in the near future.
The first excursion will be to Toronto on Wednesday, May 21 to see a Famous People Players show titled Going Bananas.
The Famous People Players is a black light theatre, and this comedy depicts what goes on behind the scenes of a circus. Lots of laughs are guaranteed.
Tickets are $85 and include a delicious glazed ham four-course dinner. Don’t delay as time is running out to purchase tickets for this event.
A trip on June 17 will be to Georgian Downs in Barrie. The cost is $50 and includes a buffet dinner and admission to the Downs, where there are slots for your gambling pleasure as well as horse races. The bus departs at 4 p.m. and returns after the last race. There are still seats available for this trip.
Following an exciting trip in December last year, Senior Travellers return to the Lakeview Arts Barn in Bobcaygen on July 17 to see the play Underneath the Lintel. This is a delightful detective story that rivals the Da Vinci Code.
The bus departs at 9 a.m. Ticket price is $80 and includes a delicious three-course lunch which you can choose while en route to the theatre. There will be a choice of one of three appetizers, three main courses and three desserts.
Tickets are now on sale, so be sure to sign up early.
All departures are from the Huntsville Centennial Centre but pick-ups can be arranged en route if requested. To book any of the trips or for more information, contact Debbie at 789-6648.
