Huntsville Forester
Please support concert of hope at Faith Baptist Church
May 14, 2008

Living with cancer can be a trying experience. On Thursday, May 22 at 7 p.m. community members are being asked to join an impressive line-up of talent at the Faith Baptist Church for a concert of hope.

The event will be held to help raise money for the local cancer society, and while admission is free, those able to make a donation are asked to do so.

Paul Turner, the worship pastor from Emmanuel Baptist in Barrie who has recently released his third CD, will treat audiences to a performance.  Also, Stephanie Israelson, the winner of 100.3 radio station's karaoke contest, will be performing as well as Huntsville musicians Amanda Penner (Suzuki School) and Sarah Spring (Music Studio).

Many know firsthand the long hours spent sitting in the waiting rooms of doctors' offices, or at hospitals.  For some it means many miles on the road driving to and from appointments only to repeat the routine every few weeks or months.  It would be easy to lose faith in the midst of such a battle and to allow a feeling of hopelessness to get the better of us.  It is easy to grow discouraged.  According to the Canadian Cancer Society on average 3,200 Canadians are diagnosed with cancer every week. Yet hope should never be lost.

Please join us for a spectacular evening of hope and inspiration. For more information call Faith Baptist Church at 789-2492 or visit www.concertofhope.ca.
