Head-on collision sends two to hospital

The Huntsville OPP are investigating the cause of a collision that occurred on Main Street West.

Huntsville OPP along with emergency services vehicles responded to the head-on collision just before 1 p.m. on May 1.   

Sixty-nine-year-old Raymond Charby of Huntsville was travelling westbound in his vehicle when he crossed the centre line and struck the vehicle that 26-year-old Robyn Johnson of Huntsville was driving. Johnson was extricated from the vehicle.   While both parties were taken to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injures. Johnson was later transported to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for treatment to a broken arm and leg.

An investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
