Huntsville Forester
Centennial Seniors going to Cape Cod
May 08, 2008

Seats still available for eight-day trip combining sun, sand, surf and slots

There are still some seats  available for a week’s holiday in Cape Cod with the Huntsville Centennial Seniors.

The trip leaves Huntsville on May 31 and returns June 7.

“We are combining the excitement of Mohegan Sun Casino Resort with the picturesque serenity of Cape Cod,” said Debbie Deluca, Huntsville older adults activity co-ordinator.

The cost is $999 per person. Included in the price are transportation, accommodation plus a variety of side trips. Highlights include Provincetown, Hyannis, Sandwich, the Seashore, Lighthouse Trail and tours of Martha’s Vineyard.

Meals included are three dinners in Cape Cod (one is a lobster dinner and entertainment), five continental breakfasts, three buffet coupons at Mohegan Sun Casino Resort and one dinner in Albany.

For those who are solo and do not want to pay a single supplement, there is now the Huntsville Community Services Solo Travellers’ Registry of Muskoka.

With your free membership, solo travellers have access to a file containing the names of  similar people looking for travel companions.

This is not a dating service, or a place to find a caregiver while travelling, but a chance to meet friends who enjoy travelling. The registry has two categories, 40 to 60 years and 60 plus. In order to make it work, more people are needed to sign up.

For those who would like more information on the trip or the registry, please call Debbie Deluca at 789-6648.
