Jeffery David Romanko died accidentally on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the age of 37.

Dear son of Patricia Archibald and Sherwood Romanko. Loving fiance of Sally Smart and stepfather of Reegan. Cherished brother of Cindi McLean (Rick) of Huntsville and Wendy Romanko of Oshawa.

Jeff will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

Jeff achieved success and lived well, laughed often and loved much.  He gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children. He filled his niche and accomplished his task. He left the earth better than he found it, and never lacked appreciation of the earth’s beauty or failed to express it. He always looked for the best in others and gave the best that he had. His life was an inspiration whose memory is a benediction.

A memorial tribute was held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Billingsley Funeral Home.  Those wishing may make donations to the Huntsville Animal Shelter or the charity of their choice.
