On April 29, officers from the Huntsville OPP attended Oxtongue Rapids Park Road in the Township of Lake of Bays for a report of a break and enter in progress.

The area attended by the officers is also known as the Franklin Transfer Site.

A pickup truck towing a U-haul truck was spotted in the transfer site with a load of scrap metal. The vehicle was initially stopped by a by-law officer.

The Huntsville OPP arrested and charged 30-year-old Jason Seaman from Dwight and 32-year-old Clint Wood of Huntsville. The two were charged with break, enter and theft. Both men were to appear in court on May 3 to answer to their charges.
